Quizzio Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Quizzio mobile app ("the App"), developed by Doğukan Dere ("we", "us"), handles information. Quizzio is a quiz game that works offline-first: we do not operate any servers for the App and we do not collect your personal data ourselves. The only data that leaves your device is handled by Google's advertising services, as described below.
1. Information stored on your device
To make the game work, the App saves the following information only on your device:
- The username you choose
- Your game progress: points, accuracy, streaks, hard mode record, daily tasks
- Items unlocked in the in-game store
- Which questions you have already answered, so you are not shown the same questions again
- Your settings: language, theme and sound preferences
This information is never sent to us or to any server we control, and it is not included in device backups. You can delete it at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob, including banner, interstitial and optional rewarded ads. To deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process information from your device, such as:
- Advertising ID
- IP address, which may be used to estimate your approximate location
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system and language
- Ad interactions, such as ad views and taps
This data is collected directly by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's policies:
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's settings (on most Android devices: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
3. Consent for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can choose non-personalized ads instead. You can change your choice at any time using the ad privacy options available in the App.
4. Notifications
With your permission, the App shows reminder notifications, such as daily quiz reminders. These notifications are scheduled and generated on your device; no data is sent anywhere to create them. You can turn them off at any time in your device's notification settings.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share data with any other third parties.
6. Data retention and deletion
Information stored on your device stays there until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App, at which point it is deleted. Because we do not hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. For data collected by Google for advertising, see Google's privacy policy and your device's ad settings.
7. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, or a higher age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will help remove it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to or limit its processing. Since we do not collect or store your personal data, most of these requests can be fulfilled directly on your device as described in Sections 1 and 6. For advertising data, you can exercise your rights through Google. You can also contact us with any questions.
9. Security
Your game data is stored in the App's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot access. Data sent to Google's ad services is transmitted over encrypted connections.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
